»Ontology Generator« is an algorithm that constructs (pseudo-)philosophical texts on the nature of reality.

The individual terminologies from the field of ontology are strung together with the help of a number generator. This generator is in turn controlled by an antenna that scans a certain part of the microwave background radiation - the so-called »big bang echo«. The constructed sentences are ultimately played back via an LED ticker. Once a sentence has been fully displayed, it is lost and never repeated again.

The publication on the project (in cooperation with Studio Sandra Doeller) contains a manifesto of 512 randomly generated statements on the subject of Ontology. A sweater edition (in cooperation with Colin Doerffler) features a collection of commercial company logos claiming and promoting a »Real Life«.
